Village of The Hills City-Wide Update:
- Trash & Recycling Update: Due to the upcoming weather, trash and recycling collection has been moved to Tuesday, January 27, at the usual time. The POA has been notified of this change.
- City Preparation & Road Conditions: The City has resources in place to treat road surfaces as needed. If you notice a roadway that may need attention, please contact helpdesk@thehillstx.gov.
- City officials are actively monitoring weather conditions. Voyant alerts will be issued if needed.
- City Closures: The Hills City Park & facilities will be closed this weekend out of an abundance of caution.

💧 Household Water or Pipe Issues
- Know where your water shutoff valve is located (typically near the street).
- In the event of a leak or burst pipe, shut off water at the meter first and confirm the meter stops moving.

🧣 Winter Preparedness: Protect the 4 P’s
People: Check on neighbors and family who may need help. Dress in layers and limit time outdoors.
Pets: Bring pets indoors and keep them warm and dry.
Pipes: Open cabinet doors, allow indoor faucets to drip, and insulate exposed pipes and outdoor spigots.
Plants: Bring plants indoors or cover them to protect from freezing temperatures.
